Founding Tester Agreement
Last updated: August 2026
Thank you for your interest in becoming a oneTradie Founding Tester.
oneTradie was built while running the office side of a real plumbing business, with the goal of giving tradies a simpler way to manage their jobs and understand their business finances in real time.
The Founding Tester Program gives a small group of trade businesses early access to the app before its public release. Your feedback will play an important role in shaping the product.
By submitting your application and participating in the Founding Tester Program, you agree to the following terms.
1. Beta Program
oneTradie is currently in active development and is provided as beta software.
As a Founding Tester, you acknowledge that:
- some features may be incomplete;
- bugs or unexpected behaviour may occur;
- features may change or be removed during development;
- the app may occasionally be unavailable while updates are being deployed.
Although every effort is made to provide a reliable experience, OneTradie is still being refined and no guarantee is made that the software will operate without interruption or error.
2. Eligibility
Participation in the Founding Tester Program is by invitation only.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
Applications are reviewed individually to create a balanced group of businesses across different trades, business sizes and levels of experience.
oneTradie reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion.
3. Your Feedback
The purpose of the Founding Tester Program is to improve oneTradie before public release.
By participating, you agree that:
- you may be asked for feedback from time to time;
- you are encouraged to report bugs, issues and suggestions;
- ideas, suggestions and feature requests submitted by you may be incorporated into OneTradie without compensation or ownership rights.
Your feedback helps improve the product for the entire trade community.
4. Business Decisions
oneTradie is designed to help tradies organise their work and better understand their business through simplified financial insights.
However, oneTradie is not:
- an accounting platform;
- a bookkeeping service;
- tax software;
- legal advice;
- financial advice.
Any information provided by oneTradie should be considered general business information only.
You remain responsible for your own pricing, quoting, financial decisions, taxation obligations and business compliance.
Where appropriate, you should always seek advice from your accountant or other qualified professionals.
5. Your Data
Your business data belongs to you.
oneTradie includes an Export Data feature that allows you to download your information at any time.
There are:
- no lock-in contracts;
- no cancellation fees;
- no requirement to contact support simply to retrieve your own data.
If you decide to stop using oneTradie, you can export your information whenever you choose.
6. Privacy
The information you provide through your application and while using oneTradie will only be used to:
- assess your application;
- communicate with you about the Founding Tester Program;

We kindly ask that you do not publicly share:
- screenshots;
- recordings;

- confidential information about unreleased features
without prior written permission.
You’re welcome to discuss your experience with oneTradie, but we appreciate your help in keeping unreleased functionality confidential until it is officially launched.
8. Pricing After Beta
Participation in the Founding Tester Program is free during the beta period.
As oneTradie grows, paid subscription plans may be introduced to support:

- customer support;
- continued product improvements.
If paid plans are introduced:
- Founding Testers will receive advance notice before any pricing changes;

9. Ending Participation
You may leave the Founding Tester Program at any time.
Likewise, oneTradie reserves the right to suspend or remove access where necessary, including (but not limited to):
- misuse of the platform;
- abusive behaviour;
- fraudulent activity;
- actions that negatively affect other users or the stability of the platform.
10. Changes During Beta
Because oneTradie is still evolving, features, workflows and functionality may change throughout the beta period.
These changes are a normal part of product development and are intended to improve the experience for all users.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, oneTradie is provided “as is” during the beta program.
While reasonable care is taken in developing and maintaining the software, oneTradie is not liable for any loss, damage or business interruption arising from the use of the beta version, including but not limited to:
- data loss;
- software errors;
- incorrect calculations;
