DAILY BUSINESS BRIEFING
Start every morning knowing exactly what deserves your attention.
Instead of opening five screens and trying to work out where to start, oneTradie reviews the business already inside the app and surfaces the things that need attention first: jobs, invoices, quotes, tasks, reminders and money.
You know what the job will cost. But what should you charge?
Quoting on the spot should not mean guessing at your margin.
Enter the job costs and oneTradie shows you the price needed to reach your target margin.
Already have a price in mind? Check the margin before you give the customer the number.
No spreadsheets. No margin maths on the side of the road. No quote waiting for you at night.
Happy with the price? Turn it into a quote without starting again.
Know whether the job made money.
Finishing the job is only half the story.
oneTradie shows what you charged, what the job cost you, your gross profit and the margin you actually made.
So instead of finding out months later that you were pricing work too low, you can see what is happening while the numbers still mean something.
See the real numbers sitting behind each completed job.
Know how much was left after the direct cost of doing the work.
See quickly whether the job landed where you expected it to.
Because a busy week does not automatically mean a profitable week.
Set it aside. It’s not your money.
Money hitting the bank account does not mean all of it belongs to the business.
oneTradie keeps the GST you have collected visible as the quarter moves along, so you always know how much should be sitting aside for the ATO.
It also keeps your next BAS due date in view, so tax does not quietly disappear into everyday spending.
Know what is yours before you spend what is not.
BUILT AROUND YOUR BUSINESS
One guided setup. A picture of the whole business.
Most software expects you to know what needs setting up.
oneTradie asks the questions instead.
Tell it about your business once and oneTradie uses those answers to help organise the things you need to stay on top of, from money and recurring costs to compliance, operations and business tasks.
You don’t need to know what you’ve forgotten. That’s the point.
BUILT AROUND THE WAY TRADIES ACTUALLY WORK
Not the way accountants do. Not the way software companies think you should.
oneTradie is designed around the questions that actually come up while you are running a trade business.
What needs doing?
What needs chasing?
What should I charge?
Did that job actually make money?
What am I really keeping?
Run the work
Know the money
Know what needs attention

WHY I BUILT IT
I didn’t build oneTradie because the world needed another scheduling app.
I built it after seeing first hand how hard a good tradie can work and still have no simple picture of what the business is really doing.
My partner is a plumber. I run the office side of our plumbing business, including admin, systems and the numbers, while he runs the tools, pricing, invoicing and clients relations.
The jobs could be flowing, customers happy and invoices going out, yet understanding what was actually left after GST, materials and the real cost of running the business was another story.
Every tool seemed to manage one piece of the puzzle. None gave a sole tradie a simple business picture in plain English.
So I started building the system I wished we had always had.
